  1. Hello, everybody.
  2. My name is Maria Calogero, and today I will be
  3. answering creative critical reflection.
  4. Question number four.
  5. Um, this question contains everything from online resources to software
  6. and hardware that I used throughout the year to create
  7. my final product magazine, which I will be turning in.
  8. Um, and we will be beginning with software.
  9. These are the components that I used the most.
  10. Um, I used canvas, presi blogger and cappuccino.
  11. Canada allowed me to create my magazine itself from the
  12. cover to the table of contents.
  13. And the feature article can be made it really easy
  14. to start off with that foundation that came from templates.
  15. Um, and from there, I was able to do some
  16. research and really take advantage of the resources that Canada
  17. had to offer in order to make my magazine as
  18. unique as possible.
  19. Um then Prezi I used to create my presentations and
  20. also present my own presentations, Um, through a video, which
  21. is what I'm doing right now.
  22. Um, I chose Prezi because I wanted to be able
  23. to deliver my thought process and my journey through word
  24. instead of writing, because I believe it's much more personable
  25. and It also allows me to really walk you through
  26. what is going on in my head.
  27. Um, following up.
  28. Blogger is the written step by step of my process
  29. in creating this magazine in Blogger, you will find everything
  30. from research about the feature article synergy marketing strategies to
  31. creative decisions that were taken in order to make my
  32. magazine what it is today as professional as possible.
  33. Um, and finally, I used cappuccino in order to record
  34. a podcast that answered a creative critical reflection.
  35. Question number two, um, I used cappuccino instead of pressing
  36. because I didn't have much to write in a presentation,
  37. So I was just talking about creative critical question number
  38. two. Yeah, yeah.
  39. Moving on to online resources.
  40. Um, the two main ones that were used were Google,
  41. where I did absolutely all my research.
  42. I was able to look at blogs, um, regarding photography
  43. regarding color choices in photography, marketing strategies that conglomerates used,
  44. and articles that allow me to choose my social issue
  45. and how I wanted it to be represented.
  46. It represented within my magazine, Um, YouTube.
  47. I used for tutorials in Canada because canvas relatively easy
  48. to use if you're just using the template, but I
  49. wanted to make it more professional and really take advantage
  50. of the resources it provided.
  51. So I couldn't have done that without a YouTube tutorial
  52. on Canada.
  53. Um, And then I use polar, which is, um, editing
  54. website, where I was able to upload my photos and
  55. really play with the brightness, um, saturation edit them so
  56. they are more appealing to the magazine and also to
  57. the reader.
  58. Finally, I went through hardware.
  59. Um, hardware was very limited.
  60. I really only used my MacBook Air and my iPhone
  61. to take photos.
  62. Um, the Mac book.
  63. I did everything in.
  64. I've done my blogs in the Mac book, my editing
  65. in the Mac book, um, whether it's editing the magazine
  66. or editing the photos.
  67. It was all done on my laptop, um, and my
  68. iPhone. I used to take all of my photos, um,
  69. which was helpful.
  70. And I also had to do research on how to
  71. really take advantage of the camera that my iPhone provided
  72. in order to make it as professional looking as possible.
  73. Um, that being said, if it weren't for all these
  74. programs that I just mentioned, the software's Hardware's and the
  75. online resources.
  76. My magazine would not have turned out the way it
  77. did. And this is just the journey and the resources
  78. that it took to reach the final product.
  79. Thank you.
