Time Management
The definition of positive attitude in a work place is to be an employee who knows that he/she is being paid for solving problems. Positive attitudes in a workplace are affective in many ways. Positive attitude There’s all types of good outcomes you could get for having a positive attitude, such as compliments, respect and you might get things that you had been asking for from your boss. Some examples of positive attitudes are: Smiles, Good Posture, managing conflict or anger and many more. Some benefits of having appositive attitude are: friendship, good impressions, maybe a raise, and respect from others. In all it’s good to have a positive attitude.
Positive and Proactive Attitude
Being dependable in a workplace is very important, it shows how serious a person takes their job. Being dependable means that someone can depend on you and come to you for help. Some ways of showing dependability are: timeliness, productivity, working unsupervised, paying attention to detail, and many others. (Ylisela) Benefits of Being dependable sometimes may be raises, promotions, or you might be highly regarded by your boss. In all its great to have all the characteristics of a dependable person it show the hard work that you do.
It’s very important to have honesty and integrity in a workplace. To be honest is to tell the truth and integrity means not only does one understand right from wrong but, they apply it to everything they do. Honesty is something everyone needs to have because, if you lie especially in a workplace it could have bad affects like getting fired, or getting demoted. Good examples of honesty and integrity is applying the golden rule, which is Treat others the way you want to be treated, confidentiality and never lying. Benefits of being honest and having integrity is having everyone feel like they can trust you to do what you are told and they also. In all it is crucial to be honest in a workplace.

Having a strong work ethic in a workplace is great, it shows that you value what you do and you are interested in your field of work. Work Ethic is a set of moral principals an employee uses in his job. Some examples of good work ethic are: integrity, sense of responsibility, quality to work, Discipline, and sense of teamwork. ("5 factors that demonstrate a strong work ethic ") Some examples of bad work ethics are lack of discipline, sloppy work, irresponsible, and not willing to get along with others. There are a lot of benefits that come from having good work ethic including: being favorite of boss, being dependable and getting more money. Over all Good work ethic in the work place will get you far on the job.
Work Ethic
It is very important to manage time in the workplace. You could easily over work on something and miss another task that you were given. To have time management is to finish work in a timely and orderly manner. Do not waste time but, don’t rush. Good examples of time management are : Do everything on time, work diligently and timely. Categorize works as urgent, important or unimportant. Don’t waste time. There are many bad habits you can develop from not managing your time like turning things in late or rushing to get stuff done. Benefits may very your boss might give you more assignments or more work, you could get a promotion and you could also be s supervisor and help other people. .(‘Time Management in the Workplace: 5 quick Tips for Newbies in the workforce”).
Appropriate Dress
Every work place has a dress code that you have to follow. Dress code is to simply make sure people have on the proper attire for their work force which basically means, women don’t wear tight or revealing clothes and men don’t wear revealing or something beneath casual. Some examples of proper dress code for workplaces are formal wear (suits, ties, dresses, slacks), there might be a few casual days (blue jeans, t-shirts, slacks, polo shirts). some bad examples of dress code in the workplace id breaking dress code. You might possibly could get fired if you break dress code. Over all it is important to stay in dress code in the workplace so you wouldn't chance loosing your job.
Inappropriate Dress
Inappropriate dress means not properly dressed for the workplace. Dressing inappropriate can cause many problems such as distracting others, not getting work done right, shows poor reflection of your work. (Hamlin) You should always follow the dress code. For example if your boss says you have a meeting with some very important people and he/she gives you a very strict dress code you need to follow it or you might get in trouble. There are many consequences to not follow the workplace dress code like, Maybe one warning, getting demoted or loosing your job. Benefits from Dressing correctly may be you getting promoted, you get work done right and you won’t distract others.
The definition of Sexual harassment is Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature. ("What is Sexual Harassment ") sexual violence also know as sexual harassment comes in many forms such as rape, incest, and things that happen without a persons consent. ("Workplace Sexual Violence Fact Sheet") There are many different consequences to sexual harassment one might loose their job, and possibly have legal actions taken against them such as restraining order, registered sex offender and jail or prison time. Workplace violence can vary from murder, asult, robbery or even sexual harassment. Violence in the workplace occurs often in workplaces that work late nights or delivery places. These places are targeted most likely because of the hours they work and the jobs they have. Remember Nothing good comes from sexual harassment or work violence.
Violence and sexual Harassment
Workplace diversity refers to a variety of differences between people in an organization. diversity encompasses race, gender, ethnic group, age, personality, cognitive style, tenure, organizational function, education, background and more. (Greenberg) Examples of diversity in the workplace would be age, gender, race, education, physical ability and more. To acknowledge the diversity in a workplace is to be respectful of another persons life style basically, which means the way they work, eat, how and who they worship, and how they live. Some problems with workplace diversity would be racism, not communicating because one doesn't like another’s habits or work ethic, not looking to one for help because one feels as if he/she knows more. Good examples of workplace diversity would be everybody getting along elder coming to young for help, different races and genders associate with no problem. Benefits of diversity would be success in a company, Handling any problems together, your company being a role model for other companies and sometimes their might be l financial success such as a raise in money your company is making , you could also be nationally known for your diversity in the workplace with no problems.
