Teang gave birth to their first baby named Blas, but Dodong felt embarrassed, he is still not ready to support a family.
Dodong wants to marry
Teang and asked
his father's permission
Thinking that they are
still young, and their love
would be short, Dodong's
father allowed them to get married.
Teang secretly regretted being married at an early age, she wondered if she would have the same life if she marry Lucio, Dodong finally realized the hardships of marrying such an early age
Blas at age 18 wanted to marry Tona, Dodong did not object, but tried to make Blas think twice before rushing to marriage, because Dodong doesn't want Blas to end up like him.

Footnote to Youth because it is a brief reminder for the Filipinos especially the youth of what a real life could be today
CONFLICT
man vs. himself,
because he knows that he is in the legal age that he can be independent and can definitely choose the right from wrong. But because of his foolishness, he had difficult time meeting the expectations that he must achieve.
IRONY
Situational irony,
because when Teang is going to give birth on their first child, we expect that Dodong will be so happy, but the truth is Dodong felt regretting than to feel happiness.
