Crowdsourcing Keeping creatives employed since 2006 by Sasha & Evan A Definition An “open” delegation via the web of a specific task to a large community of people. Crowdsourcing is often used to amalgamate data or information from disparate communities, and it is also a popular way to find designers or photographers to do graphics work at little or no cost. The open collaborative aspect of crowdsourcing allows for project managers and team leaders to redefine their approach to a problem by amassing new ideas from people who may have a fresh outlook or a different perspective. It can also a foster a sense of greater community interactivity and connection with a product, site, or undertaking.
