Transcript of Eva Galler
She had 14 siblings.
She survived through the Holocaust time period.
Eva passed away on January, 2006 Eva lived in a little town that didn't have running water or electricity. One day the Germans walked down the streets with drums and guns and fired at anyone in the streets. They found her family and put them in a Ghetto. After being in the Ghetto for a while they put her family on a death train. Someone pulled the barbwire off of the train and so they tried to escape. Her siblings jumped off and they immediately died because the guards shot them down. Eva jumped and lived. After escaping from the train, Eva ran back to safety. She was found sleeping in a barn and the people who found her let Eva stay with them and she worked on a farm until the Holocaust was over. "Some how, some how the Jews were always brighter."
"They didn't show any pity."
"We just hope to stay alive and the war would end before they would do something to us."
-Eva Galler I admire how strong and courageous she was. She didn't give up even when life came at its worst. Only 12 people made it through the Holocaust in her town and she was one of them. She was very lucky to have made it through that time period. She could tell her stories to the world and pass it down to the newer generations and have them pass it down too. URl's:
