Background Information Pros: Cons: Personal Opinions: Statistics and Data: Some schools do not allow middle school students to have cell phone because they don’t trust them.Or think that it will distract them. We have a way it will be helpful in school and won’t distract them. •We need cell phones for safety issues.
•Parents could contact their kids easily.
•Phones can be silenced during class or study periods and active only in appropriate places.
• You can be in touch with your children, and know where they are.

•Only 12% of teens can have cellphones at all times in school.

In conclusion, we think that middle school students should be responsible enough to have cell phones and be trusted to not abuse it.
