Some Minor Limitations...
In order to be a volunteer, one must be 18 years of age.
While the choice for a country in which one want to serve in is considered, there is no guarantee that one will be assigned there.
Just remember, living in a third world country is much different than living in the United States.
Benefits of Volunteering
One should join the Peace Corps because of the great things you can do for others in need, the joy you would get from helping them, and the incredible experiences and memories made while on your trip.
