Transcript of SPACE
A system for projecting the three dimensional world onto a two dimensional surface
The way light shows on a figure can effect the amount of detail and color that is on it.
To show the illusion of space, you can change the color difference. Take a green triangle for example. If one is closer to you, you will see the detail and color better, but when it is farther away, the color and detail is less defined, and is grayer.

The path of a moving point.
Space is the system for projecting the the three -dimensional onto a two - dimensional surface.
A line that travels straight left and right.
A line that goes straight up and down
Horizon line: the line that separate the foreground from the back round.
A straight line that is slanted, sometimes connecting two corners of a shape.
Vanishing point: the disappearing spot in a drawing, and things begin to appear smaller as things get closer to the vanishing point.
In art class, we made towns with vanishing points in which the items we made the buildings closer to the vanishing point smaller, to make them seem farther away. And made the building farther from the vanishing point bigger, to give the illusion they were closer.
