azz is a type of western dance. Jazz is kind of sort of like ballet, only it's less structural and 'perfect' looking, and your turnouts are different. Jazz dancing is really upbeat and fun, something that just makes me smile. It's got elements from a lot of different styles, with quick turns and fast steps.
This dance form denotes various 19th- and 20th-century reconstructions of Sadir, the art of temple dancers called Devadasis.Sadir in turn, is derived from ancient dance in the treatise Natya Shastra by Bharata of fourth or third century BCE.
The story of Kathak begins in ancient times with the performances of professional story-tellers called kathakas. The traditions of the kathakas were hereditary, and dances passed from generation to generation. There are literary references from the 3rd and 4th centuries BCE which refer to these kathakas. The two texts are in the archives of Kameshwar library at Mithila.
Jazz dance is a classification shared by a broad range of dance styles. Before the 1950s, jazz dance referred to dance styles that originated from African American vernacular dance.
The history of hip-hop dance encompasses the people and events since the late 1960s.
This includes a wide range of that were developed in the 1970s by Black and/or Latino Americans.
Ballet is a formalized form of dance with its origins in the Italian Renaissance courts of the 15th and 16th centuries. The predominance of French in the vocabulary of ballet reflects this history. Theatrical ballet soon became an independent form of art, although still frequently maintaining a close association with opera, and spread from the heart of Europe to other nations.
Kuchipudi is one such unique form of Art which is the tasteful blend of grace and vigour, elevation and sensuality, of control and abandon. With its roots buried in the soil of Andhra Pradesh in India, Kuchipudi was born in a remote Village from which it derived its name. In the early days, the Kuchipudi style of dance was in the form of dance dramas, the main purpose being to inculcate divine ecstasy which invokes immortal bliss and brings one closer to the path of salvation
Ballet is a formalized kind of performance dance that originated in the Italian Renaissance in the 15th century. It was further developed in France, Russia and England as a concert dance form. Jazz has taken a lot of its elements from ballet.
