Summary
In this book, a kid named Nick Abbot loved to play basketball but he lived in a neighborhood that was very poor and couldn’t afford to have the best hoops at their park. So, his dad built him a court in his backyard so he could play on it. Nick wanted to be the best basketball player that he could become so every day he practiced on that hoop. For a while he didn’t play because he experienced some bad times like his parents getting a divorce and he started to hang out with the wrong people. Then suddenly his nieghbor Trent starts playing basketball with him and slowly the relize what imitading duo they can become both off and on the court.
