Is it over hyped? Is its main value just as a historical landmark? Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
Background info
It helped foster different thoughts and ideas which impacted art and architecture
It introduced new ideas like ethnocentrism which kept people isolated and only believe in themselves and that their ideas were best.
Served as trading post

The Pros and Cons of the Great Wall of China
Construction started over 2,000 years ago
The wall is called "Wan-Li Qang-Qeng"
It is one of the largest building construction projects ever completed by man.
It is mainly constructed of packed-earth, wood, and stones.
The outline of the wall can be seen from the earth's orbit.
