What do you do when you have Down Syndrome?
When we have Down Syndrome, we should take care of our medical issues. For example:
In conclusion, there is no cure to this disease. The only solution to this situation is for their parents to give full support to their children instead of feeling guilty. It makes me so sad hearing about this disease but no matter how they look or act, they are still a human being like us.
A person with down syndrome has an extra copy of chromosome 21. It makes it hard for the cells to control how much proteins is produced. If there is too much or little proteins then there would be serious problems.
What is Down syndrome?
Down Syndrome is a genetic situation where instead of having 46 chromosomes (23 pairs) , you have 47 chromosomes.
The reason why some has down syndrome is that they have and extra chromosome 21 in their body.
The unnecessary chromosome affects the way the body and brain changes.
What are the signs of Down Syndrome?
To know if someone has down syndrome, we will be able to see it on their appearance. For example:
Slanting eyes upwards
Short hands and fingers
Takes them a long time to learn
Acting without thinking behavior
Inspecting eyes every year while we are an still a child
Hearing trail every 6 to 12 months
Checking on teeth every half a year
Examining the top spine between 3 to 5 years old
Sadly, there is no special treatment for this disease. The only solution to this disease is that the parents of the child should feel no fear nor guilt and give all their support to their kid. But the parents should work on their kids behavior too because they get sometimes angry and that shouldn't happen
Is there a cure to this disease?
