to attend Trinity College Died in 1892 and was buried
in Westminster Abbey Father- Reverend George Tennyson Brother- Charles Tennyson 11 other siblings In 1833 Alfred's Best friend Arthur had an unexpected death which effected Alfred's poems greatly In 1836 he became engaged to Emily Sellwood. In 1840 Emily's family called off the engagement; this also effected Alfred's poems greatly In 1850 "In Memoriam" was published Best friend- Arthur Hallam Family/Friends Georgian/Victorian era Works Cited "Charge of the Light Brigade."
