Anonymous Who is Anonymous? Goals and Aspirations Videos Started in 2003 on 4chan, Anonymous is a network of people loosely working together to promote internet freedom and the end of censorship. To join Anonymous, all you have to do is want to be a part of it. During public protests and speeches, they always wear Guy Fawkes masks. They aim to help create a world in which nobody is afraid to look up whatever they want, whenever they want, on the internet. They take down sites as a form of protest by Ddos attacks (Distributed denial of service), which prevents people from accessing that site for the duration of the attack. As for countries where its nearly impossible to access uncensored sites, they have a special browser called Tor that allows people to access the regular internet anonymously, as well as the "Darknet", an underground network that has just about everything on it. How does Anonymous take down internet sites? Where does Anonymous get their mask from? (What is it called?) How do you join Anonymous? What internet browser did Anonymous create and support that allows for internet anonymity?
