[ 3 + x = √13 ] Follow Along And Take Notes As I Go

[ (3 + x)2 = 9 + 6x + x2 = 13 ]

[ 6x + x2 = 4 ]

[ 6x = 4 gives x = 2/3 ]

[ √13 = 3 + x = 3 2/3]

[ 6x + x2 = 4 implies 6x + 2/3 x = 4 ]

[ x = 4/(6 + 2/3) = implies 3 + x = 3 3/5 ]

[ 6x + x2 = 4 implies 6x + 3/5 x = 4]
Continued...
[ 6x + 3/5 x = 4 implies x = 4/(6 + 3/5) = 20/33 ]
