Fun Fact: People say that the best way to remove a dried blood stain out of a silk product or just silk itself is using human saliva. Fun Fact: Sleeping on silk is good for your hair because of the essential amino acids in it. Fun Fact: The fluffy cocoons made by silkworms are usually one long silk filament and when it is unwrapped, it is as long as 1,600 yards. Fun Fact: To tell that a piece of silk is real, you have to do a process called the "burn test." Fun Fact: It usually takes 30,000 silkworms to make 12 pounds of silk.
