THERE ARE 3 MAIN SETTINGS FOR THE BOOK

The interior of a nursing home
A travelling circus
I was suprised! Once I got deeper into the book I realized I had never thaught of a circus that way and I
never new it could be so extraordinary. It really is inspiring to think of the ways they chose to solve things, and the team-work they put into the solutions. It is interesting to me because first of all it is written in Jacob's perspective when he is in his nineties, and it tell me how easy, hard, fun or sad life was when he was twenty three and second because it showed me a way of life that I had no idea about. He spoke a lot about the lessons he learned along the way and about him growing up and facing the challenges. It really can happen to anyone because some of the challanges and decisions he makes are what lots of people face as well. I enjoyed reading this book because it was a fun exciting journey for me to read the book and picture in my head the setting, the people, the emotions and the answers. I really enjoyed the book because I could definetly relate to the feeling and emotions because I have gone through similar choices as well. I recommend this book for you (If you like circuses, adventures and people).

End Plot #2
Days go by and since Marlena and Jacob aren't talking to august the sit alone. It got so bat Uncle Al had to get one of his guards to drage August away from Marlena, because he grabed her wrist and begged her to come back. Jacob rushed to Marlena asking if he hurt her, but she was fine. That time of the year one of Jacob's good friends Camel had gotten sick because he had drance a Jamaican alcohal which could get him paralysed. Camel did feel dissby and couldn't even lift his own wait at times. So when Jacob spoke to walter they agreed to let Camel stay in their cabon. The following days were strange no on ehad seen Al, and that was the time the new circus had pulled in and the inspectores had arrived. Jacob caught a circus manager and a inspector telling worker men to pack Rosie with them. Jacob ran and screamed "YOU CAN'T TAKE MY ELEPHANT SHE IS THIS CIRCUSES GIVE HER BACK!" the manager of the other circus said "Is the elephant yours?" and Jacob said it was his so practicly now he owns Rosie. In that same day Marlena sw a few other worker men holding her horses she ran there and shouted "HEY THOSE ARE MY HORSES NOT YOURS YOU CANT TAKE THEM AWAY FROM ME" so the men got frightened and ran of leaving Marlena with the Horses. When Marlena marched back Jacob looked at her for so many seconds then she says "im so sorry i didnt know how we would take care of them i just couldnt let the take my horses away from me". Then Jacob told her about how they owne rosie now and Marlena understood. At the same day a worker man saw a black and white think wearing striped pants, the worker man through-up and a specticle began. When Jacob got there he took a while took figure what it was but then he did it was uncle Al. Jacob found out he had been strangled to death. He was shoked. Not only did Rosie kill August, but somebody also killed Al. That is when h realised Walter and Camel had been missing. One of Al's guards had found out that they had been chucked of the train wile it was moving. Camel died strait aways as his head hit rock and Walter, well, non of them know. Good thing Uncle Al was already dead or Jacob would have slautered Al himself. That is when Jacob, Marlena and Rosie moved away. Luckily that time of the year when they moved out one of the veternarians at a zoo had died, Jacob was perfect for he job! Not only did he have a great digree and lots of experience but also, he has a elephant. Once he got the job and moved with Marlena, Rosie, BoBo (the chimpanzie) and the horses they bought a farm not to far away from where Jacob worked but not to close they had their five kids there and they all would ride the horses. For him all the years past by so fast and know he is a old man, lonely with only the nurce rosemary. That day his family was saposed to visit but they forgot and they were sapossed to take him to the circus, which Jacob was looking forward to. So, he took himself to the circus where a teenager told the manager that old soal Jacob was trying to sneak in but the manager let Jacob in because he was kind. Then Jacob tod the manager that he worked in the circus for more than seven years nd that he was a vet for the Benzini Brothers. The manager ws fasinated and asked Jacob if he would be delited to join him for a drink after the show and Jacob agreed. Then at the end of the show when Jacob was with the man. Jacob told him about his beggining at the circus how hard it was and how he got rosie and how he met Marlena, how much he hated August alnd Al, about his five kids and about his buddies Camel and Walter and then as he was growing old, getting his job s a vet and hiw life went by so fast. Then a cop came knocking on the doorsaying that a old man had wondered of from his nurcing home, which had been Jacob the cop asked the manager (Charlie) who was the old man sitting over there? it was Jacob but Chalie protended that Jacob was his father and the cop believed him. The cop sugested to get Jacob back home but then Charlie sayed “this is home” and the cop smiled and waved goodbye. Then Jacob told Charle " can i please come with you, just put me in the ticked book and i'll sell tickets" and then he did when at the end Jacob thinks " so what is im old, so what if im always nagie if i want i can. So why shoudnt i not run away from the circus."
