in art With all of this technology, why do pixels look appealing? they're bright. they're colorful. they're nostalgic. nostalgia-
a sentimental longing for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations. Aren't we surrounded by pixels? our phones? the tv? Speaking of pixels.. did you know pixels were being used in the 7th century? Islamic art uses pixels all the time, but they use tiles instead.
