Comets! the brightest parts of a comet is in the head which is made of coma and nucleus. most comets have two tails, a gas tail and a dust tail which usually point away from the sun. a comets tail can be more than 100 kilometers long and strech across the sky most comets are found in two regions of the solar system. one of those regions are the Kuiper belt which is a doughnut shaped belt that extends beyond Neptune's orit, about 100 times Earth's distance from the sun. the Oort cloud is a spherical region of comets that surrounds that solar system out more than 1,000 times the distance between the sun and Pluto.
