Early Childhood Educators work with children between the ages of 2 and 5 in nursery schools, and anything similar.
In the Ottawa Region there are more then 75, jobs in Ottawa region
In Ottawa the Low wage for an Early Childhood Educator start from 12.00, the Median wage starts from 16.00 and the High wage starts from 21.00
In Ontario the Low wage for an Early Childhood Educator start from 10.25 the Median wage starts from 15.00, and the High wage starts from 26.54
In Canada the Low wage for and Early Childhood Educator start from 10.00, the Median wage starts from 13.62, and the High wage starts from 27.18
The outlook for early childhood educators is expected to be average to good in the Ottawa economic region in. In Ontario, employment prospects are expected to be average for early childhood educators, there is more than 57,000 workers. Employment in the occupation has been growing slowly over most of the last decade. These workers are fairly young, an average age of 38 years old.
In order to be an Early Childhood Educator you need to have your Secondary School Diploma, you need to take grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U) and three Grade 11 or grade 12 C, U or M courses
