Educate and provide more information about stress

Creatively present ways in which UConn Huskies can de-stress

Capture student attention, get them thinking about the issue and then encouraging them to interact

Influence/better overall action and behavior, promoting stress-free lifestyles
Why a De-Stress Campaign?
Timing
Relatable
Universal issue
We realized students don't know how to deal with stress/don't know the importance of making de-stressing a lifestyle Motivation Appeals Reminding audience of how stress can negatively affect them and how widespread and frequent it is.
Giving them solutions to the problem of stress that are easy to do and readily available.
Appealing to their logic that the rational thing to do would be to try some of our suggestions
Also: central route of ELM because students know a fair amount about stress already To conclude... Husky De-Stress for Success Tips
1. Catch a movie at the student union theater
2. Exercise (Body Wise classes, gym...)
3. Taking a study break at Starbucks
4. Have fun at the Student Union Game Room
5. Remember to sleep
6. Manage your time (to do lists, scheduling)
7. Eat a balanced diet
8. Don't change your whole routine!
9. Practice deep breathing or do yoga
10. Make time for hobbies or other activities you enjoy Measure of Success
