1. Facilitator Introduction - 5 minutes
2. Presentations by Discussion Leaders - 5 minutes each
3. Breakout Group Discussions
Presentation: Pecha kucha®
Whiteboards are available for participants and discussion leaders to capture key insights and conclusions during smaller group discussions in the latter part of the session.
A Graphic Recorder will capture the main insights from presentations and outcomes from discussions (optional).
Screen and prompter
A screen projects the Pecha kucha presentation, whilst the Discussion Leader can see the slides changing thanks to a prompter.
To support the spirit and flow of the IdeasLab and to facilitate interaction among participants, the set-up of the room is flexible and is adapted to support the process as the session advances.
The goal of the IdeasLab is to create an informal but well-structured environment where powerful ideas and concepts can be presented by leading intellectuals and entrepreneurs in a visually stimulating and highly interactive format.
The IdeasLab is run in
two main parts - “ ” and “ ”:
•Powerpoint (please use template provided) or Prezi presentation (www.prezi.com)
•15 individual images, 20 seconds each
•We discourage the use of videos in Powerpoint presentations but should you really wish to have
one, please choose hi-resolution WMV, MPEG or AVI - before sending please check that the quality of the film is acceptable when played FULL SCREEN on a WINDOWS laptop
•Avoid text, no bullet point
•High resolution images - recommended 100 pixels/dpi (dots per inch)
•No branding, no introduction and conclusion slide
•Please do not change the slide master in the template provided and leave the background white
Innovations, trends and concepts are shared
via a pecha kucha® (pronounced peh-chak-cha) presentation given by up to five Discussion Leaders.
