Technology can provide the means for active, authentic learning through investigation both in the classroom and int he field" Technologies that "require students to think causally while making hypotheses, conjectures, speculations...." "Even in today's technology-laden society, writing continues to be a skill critical to success....there are several tools availab for different parts of the writing process..." "...the idea of using computers as Mindtools for buildings models of meaning"
