Local Resistance to Globalization
1st World/3rd World conflict.
Migration of 21st Century People
Because of Globalization its necessary to have Western populations move East and vise versa to sustain first world economies. New 21st century migrations tend to include the educated, unlike migrations of the 19th and 20th century. Labor can now be local and cheap because of better infrastructure. Uneducated labor still migrates to the first world for work. That trend has not changed.

New Global Connections
The World Is Shrinking
Global Warming
Multi-National Corporations - Resources, Markets, Production, and Design can all be on different continents. Advertising around the world

Internet - Brings regional entertainment and information globally.

Infrastructure - moves people world wide in 36 hours or less

The production of consumer goods globally, and the fuel needed for transportation and energy had increased. The release of carbon emissions globally has fueled a warming trend that is changing environmental agriculture and rainfall patterns. This has effected local economies more than international ones. But along with new competition globally, warming has caused a rise in prices world wide.
Globalization
The Third World is often the source of resources for 1st world Economies. (oil) Local cultures, especially if in poverty, resent the presence of 1st world populations/values/ and economic policies. There is a fear of disapearing culture.
- Al Qaeda
- Ayatollahs in Iran
Lacking resources the 3rd world can use the global infrastructure of the 1st world to attack it. (computer virus', internet, hijacking)
Emerging Markets

China and India now have the resources to compete globally with the West and now compete for the same resources driving up prices. They also come into conflict with the same local cultures.

They also rival traditional Western Economies.
For over 7 years the USA has been occupying the lands of Islam in the holiest places.....plundering its riches, dictating to its rulers, humiliating its people, (and) terrorizing its neighbors.
