Transcript of Plant cell compared to school

By: Nicole Banzer Cell wall is like the walls of the school, because the walls of the school gives the school it's shape like the wall of the cell surrounds the membrane, giving a cell a rigid, boxlike shape. Cell Wall Cell membrane is like the guards in the school that knows who enter and leave the school, like the cell membrane that protects the cell and regulates what substance enter and leave the cell. Cell Membrane Nucleus is like the director in the school, because he is the one that gives the directions for all the other parts like the nucleus directs all of the cell’s activities, including reproduction. Nucleus Vacuole is like the warehouse of the school, because there is were they buy all the supplies that the school needs like the vacuole in the plant most mature plant cells have one large vacuole. this sac within the cytoplasm stores water, food, waste products, and other materials. Vacuole Chloroplast is like the cafeteria in the school, because there is where the food is made like chloroplast organelles capture energy from sunlight and use it to produce food for the cell. Chloroplast Endoplasmic reticulum is like the wiki of the school that students use for get more information, is like endoplasmic reticulum that network of passageways carries materials from one part of the cell to another. Endoplasmic Mitochondria is like the generators of the school, because they produce the energy for all the school like mitochondria is most of the cell’s energy is produced with in these rod-shaped organelles. Mitochondria Golgi body is like the gmail of the school that receive and send information, like golgi body in the cell receive materials from endoplasmic reticulum and spend them to other parts of a cell. they also release materials outside the cell. Golgi Body Cytoplasm is like all of the gardens and plazas and space inside the school, because you can see all the students in the space like cytoplasm in the plants that includes a gel-like fluid in which many different organelles are found.
