Ardisia; It's Kind of an Issue As experienced by Lauren Kirkendall Callie Smith and Marie Sprague What is Ardisia? Ardisia crenata is a species of flowering plant in the colicwood family, Myrsinaceae, that is native to East Asia. ___________ Not Florida! This makes Ardisia an invasive species. And that is terrible. So what can we do? Mission: Ardisia Who? Cara & Bob Where? Devil's Milhopper Why? Because Florida flora is worth saving. Cara gives us a debriefing followed by a natural history lesson on this rogue species. Ardisia Bob Cara Lauren Callie Suited up. Note: gloves. Herbicide. Kills the plants
