History of animation Question 1.
A thaumatrope is a toy that was popular in Victorian times. A disk or card with a picture on each side is attached to two pieces of string. When the strings are twirled quickly between the fingers the two pictures appear to combine into a single image due to persistence of vision.
Question 2.
Early examples of attempts to capture the phenomenon of motion drawing can be found in Paleolithic cave paintings, where animals are depicted with multiple legs in superimposed positions, clearly attempting to convey the perception of motion.

Walter Elias Disney was the “father” of animation. Disney is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the twentieth century. As the co-founder of Walt Disney Productions, Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world.
