WORK
Genesis 2:2-3   By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
Genesis 2:15   The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.
Prov. 10:5 He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.
Prov. 12:11 Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.
Prov. 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Prov. 14:23 All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.
Prov. 18:9 One who is slack in his work is brother to one who destroys.
Prov. 21:25 The craving of a sluggard will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work.
Prov. 28:19 Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty.
2 Thessalonians 3:6-15 (P.838)

Colossians 3:22-24    Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
