The Key characters
The summery and Climax
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone can be summarized by describing a few details of the book. Harry lives in a house on Privet 4 drive. Later Harry goes to Hogwarts. Then Harry and Ron go into the Forbidden Forest. The Climax is when Harry and Voldemort try and both get the stone.
The setting is in different places. The setting first is with the Dursley's. The Dursley's are muggles. Muggles are people that are not wizards or witches. The next chapters are in a shack by the ocean. The next setting is in Diagon Alley. Diagon Alley is a place that wizards and witches go to shop for items like cauldrons, books and magic wands. In the next chapters the setting is at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Then the setting goes to a forest by Hogwarts. The forbidden forest is where strange creature live.
The Main conflict
The main conflict of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is between Harry and Voldemort. Harry Potter finds the Sorcerer's Stone and Voldemort (who killed Harry's parents) wants that Stone to so he can rule Hogwarts. Then Voldemort will turn the school ( Hogwarts) evil. That's why Harry needs to get the stone before Voldemort. The characters that are involved with the main conflict are Harry, Voldemort, and Quirrell. Quirrell is a teacher at Hogwarts.

A very suspenseful and surprising part of this book
The suspenseful passage in this book is when Hagrid is talking to Harry and the Dursel's and said " You never told him? Never told him what was in the letter Dumbledore left for him....... Harry yer a wizard." This passage explains the basis of who Harry is.
The Main Theme of the book
The main theme of Harry Potter is that good triumphant over evil. This means that its better to be good that to be evil.
