Transcript of ANIMATION

What is animation?
Animation is the process of creating a moving image and shapes to produce a film or video. Animators are artists who specialize in the creation of animation. Animations can be recorded on either flip book, motion picture film, video tapes or digital media.
The most famous animation studios are Disney and Pixar.
Why have I chosen
animation?
I have chosen to do animation because I enjoy it and I think it would be a fun job working on movies or creating my own animation. I also like watching cartoons and I like watching how much fun the people have while making it.

Contemporary Animation
ANIMATION
Pinocchio is the second film that Disney
released. The animation is very 2D and basic with little detail. It was released in 1940 so it is at the very beginning of animation.
Toy story was the first movie that Pixar created.
It was a little more advanced animation as Pixar
had teamed up with Disney. It was released in
1995. 27 animators had worked on the film and
used 400 computer models to animate the
characters.
Some of my favorite movies.
I'm a real

Not amused.
The movie Tintin is an example of contemporary
animation. This technique makes the characters more realistic and more 3D. More examples of films that use this technique are:
Rango
Legend of the Guardians
Wall-e
Puss in Boots
The Croods
Frozen
Finding Nemo
