Japan Project

Japan is a lovely place where children and adults learn lots of languages like Confucianism and many more, but their two main religions are Shintoism and Buddhism.If they are Buddhist they mostly have a statue of a Buddhist and they pray and put food in a bowl next to it, and also they sometimes light up candles. These are some traditional Japan pictures including temples.
Schooling and Clothing
In Japan in schools students have to learn over 2000 characters in their alphabet but we only have to learn 26 letters in our alphabet.Also they have school every second Saturday.They also call their teachers Sensei and they have to bow down low to respect their teacher. In Japan at their schools, after lunch they eat a orange for desert.In Japan schools students clean up their own classrooms instead of cleaners coming to clean it up.Sometimes they love to clean it by their self.Do you see now, how different our country is to their country.

Clothing:
In Japan some people wear these types of clothing called a Kimono. Also Mawashis another type of a clothing that sumo people i wear.

Climate

Japan has two climates in temperate of north and the tropical south. North is the cool/cold one. Spring comes from March to May and that's when fabulous Cherry Blossoms start to grow. In summer a majority of the whether is hot and humid.
Japan is made up of 6,852 islands and it is located in the Continent of Asia. Also the size of Japan is 374,744sq km. Japans closest neighbors are China and Korea and it's four main islands are Honshu, Hokkaido, Shikoku and Kyushu.

Population: The population of Japan is 127.54 million. Almost every day the population goes either higher or lower because people are moving in to Japan or moving out of Japan.
Religion

Flora
A few of Japan's plants are plum momji, sakura
cherry and lots more. Also one of Japan's famous plants are Cherry Blossom. There is a special type
of plant called bonsai. It is a type of art that Japanese people do. It is a small plant that you wrap wires around to shape it in a certain way that you like. Some people have it all over the world isn't that awesome!!!:]
