Learning styles are viewed as the way one learns. It can be defined as the way one will draw on their strengths in order to understand what is required of them.
Experiential learning looks at the link between the process of learning and reflection of learning from doing.
Previous experiences affect current experiences, which naturally influence future experiences. Experiential learning examines how experiences relate to future experiences and develop our awareness and understanding
The educator must create an atmosphere in which experiences are reflected upon by the learner so they become meaningful and positive (Dewey 1938; Enfield 2001).
The basis of all experiential learning (EL) is that experience matters. Many educators believe that without an experience, there can be no true learning or real understanding of a concept or situation (Andresen, Boud, & Cohen, 2000; Kolb 1984; Dewey 1938)

Disadvantage of Constructivism
The biggest disadvantage of constructivism is its lack of structure. Constructivism requires the teacher to discard standardized curriculum in favor or a more personalized course of study based on what the student already knows. (Brighthubeduction.com, 2015, 2015)
Advantages of Constructivism

Social Learning Theory has been useful in explaining how people can learn new things and develop new behaviors by observing other people.
Social Learning Theory says that people can learn by observing others. Observational learning explains the nature of children to learn behaviors by watching the behavior of people around them, and eventually, imitating them.
An advantage of this theory is its flexibility to explain differences in a child's behavior or learning. The environmental or societal aspect of this theory says that children learn in a social context. This reinforces the idea that when there is change in a child's environment, the child's behavior may also change.
Although a disavantage is that unlike stage models of child development, social learning theory doesn't hing upon a distinct progression of learning and growth that is chronological or age dependent. The view of this theory has neglected to consider the child's development. Some standard developmental milestones may still occur regardless of the environmental setting.
Social learning theory originated from Albert Bandura. He believed that behaviorism alone could not alone explain all that he observed. He believed that behavior and the environment affected each other. Bandura called this phenomenon reciprocal determination. He extended this theory by combining in a person's personality with behavior and the environment.

Constructivist teaching places more emphasis on sensory input, a method that has long been overlooked in traditional education systems. Students being taught by constructivist methods cannot be passive participants in the classroom; they need to be actively involved in “the bigger picture” of the world around them.
Different styles of education draw on different learning theories. Together, they contribute to a framework of learning and development that can benefit students and society.(MLA

What is Constructivism

Constructivism theory posits that learning is an active process whereby a learner actively creates or constructs subjective representations of objective reality. New information is linked to prior knowledge and experiences; mental representations are therefore subjective to the learner. (Learning-therios.com, 2007, 2015)
Constructivism has roots in ancient Greece, dating back to Socrates's teachings. Socrates asked directed questions to his students that enabled them to develop insights into any weaknesses in their thinking. This method has been an important tool in the way modern day constructivist educators assess their students' learning and plan new learning experiences. (Thirteen.org, 2004, 2015)
Jean Piaget
Piaget believed that humans learn through the construction of one logical structure after another. Piaget’s research found that the logic of children and their modes of thinking are distinctly different from adults. The implications of this theory and how Piaget applied it shaped the foundation for constructivist education. (Thirteen.org, 2004, 2015)
John Dewey

Dewey called for education to be grounded from the basis of real experience. He stated, "If you have doubts about how learning happens, engage in sustained inquiry: study, ponder, consider alternative possibilities and arrive at your belief grounded in evidence." Constructivist learning is based on the process of students being inquisitive. (Thirteen.org, 2004, 2015)
