Transcript of Terraria
By Jared and Alex
In Terraria there is a variety of weapons like one of my favorites the Terra. There are different types of weapons like swords and bows. There is also a mana bar which your magic weapons use. There is enhancements you can make to your weapons that make it better or worse. The best enhancement you can get is legendary.
There are tons and tons of enemies in this game, including Unicorns. Some other enemies are Demon Eyes and Zombies. They do what every enemy in every game ever does, try and kill the player. You defeat the enemies to get stuff like Silver Coins and Copper Coins. In Hardmode more harder enemies get unlocked. If an enemy kills you depending on what mode your character drops something. Softcore you drop coins, Mediumcore you drop items and coins, and Hardcore you die forever and your character gets deleted.
There are many ores in Terraria like diamonds and abot 30 more. But you Minecraft fans are thinking "Nothing can beat diamonds!" If you were thinking that you are WRONG! You can't do anything with diamonds. Well with that out of the way we can talk about ores. The list of ores weakest to strongest is Copper, Tin, Iron, Lead, Silver, Tungsten, Gold, Plantinum, Demonite, Crimtane, Meteorite, Obsidian, Hellstone, Cobalt, Palladium, Mythril, Orichalcum, Adamantite, Titanium, and Chlorophyte. Most of these ores are hard to get with just a pickaxe, so you need drills.
What is it?
Terraria is just Minecraft but 2D. There are many things that you can do, like trying to beat Skeletron for your 289th time. You can also mine like in Minecraft , but make different armor, weapons. It's also very addictive, me and Alex play it ALL the time. It is on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, IOS, and Android. PC costs $15, Xbox and PS3 costs $20, and IOS and Android costs $5. Alex has it for IOS and I have it for Xbox, PC, and IOS.
Remember at the beginning I said "...trying to beat Skeletron for your 289th time." Well he is one of the hardest bosses in the game. Wait I didn't tell you about the bosses. There are 20 bosses in total, there is The King Slime, The Duke Fishron, Eye of Cthulhu, Eater of Worlds, Brain of Cthulhu, Queen Bee, Skeletron, The Wall of Flesh, The Twins, The Destroyer, Skeletron Prime, Plantera, Golem, Mouring Wood, Pumpking, Everscream, Santa-NK1, Ice Queen, Ocram, and Lepus. Each of them are summoned in different ways like the WoF need to be summoned by throwing a Guild Voodoo dall in lava in the underworld.
For people who don't know, NPC stands for non-playable character. In the game 23 NPCs appear at all. 21 being Town NPCs and 2 being Non-Town NPCs. Town NPCs are NPCs that live in houses you make for them. The 2 Non-Town NPCs are the Old Man and the Traveling Merchant. The Old Man is found at the entrance to the Dungeon, but vanishes after you beat Skeletron. The Traveling Merchant spawn randomly and stays for one day selling unique items. The 21 other Town NPCs are The Guild, The Dye Trader, The Angler, The Merchant, The Demolitionist, The Painter, The Nurse, The Dryad, The Arms Dealer, The Party Girl, The Goblin Tinkerer, The Witch Doctor, The Stylist, The Clothier, The Mechanic, The Pirate, The Truffle, The Wizard, The Steampnker, The Cyborg, and don't forget Santa Claus. For some of the NPCs you can buy stuff from them with coins.
Thank you for watching!
Terraria 1.2 Update Trailer!
(WAS REALLY EXCITING AT THE TIME!)
Hardcore Mode is converted in a world when you beat the WoF. It unlocks a bunch of ores that I talked about earlier. It basically makes the game harder. The enemies get harder, but weapons and armors get better. Nearly half of the stuff we talked about is from Hardmode. The game adds more areas for you to explore, new ores, new enemies, and new weapons.
This prezi took a VERY LONG TIME to make.
Start: April 27 End: May 31
In Terraria you get more protected with your armor. There are also clothing you could where over your armor if you don't like the style of the armor. The way you get protected is defense. Defense is the number that determines how much damage can be absorbed per hit. Damage the player takes is reduced by half their defense value, rounded up. The clothing just makes you look cool. Now to the accessories, accessories are things that the player equips to make the player better. You can have 5 accessories at once. Some accessories are wings, rocket boots, and flippers. There are 3 possible ways to get an accessory, buy it, craft it, or find it in chests.
