Transcript of three monotheistic religions

ISLAM
Islam arose in the early seventh century C.E. and it was on mecca. (PRESENT DAY SAUDI ARABIA). It expanded into areas controlled be the Byzantine and Sassanian empire. Muslims that are the persons that practice islamic believe in a day of judgment. Their calender is lunar. Their god is Allah and it prophet is Muhammad. Their holy book is the Quran and it contains verses in arabic that tells muslims to worship only one god. The Hadith tells Muhammad life. They have five pillars and three dietary rules. They see Judaism and Christianity as early versions of Islam. They worship in a Mosque and they go in Friday.
JUDAISM
CHRISTIANITY
They worship in a Church and they do
it on Sunday. They believe in god and in
the bible. There prophet is Jesus.
Christianity is a branch from Judaism.
Early christian communities were
persecuted until the emperor Constantine
converted to Christianity. Then the Roman
empire became the Holy Roman Empire.
The old testaments is the Torah with christian additions and the new testament is the
life of Jesus. They believe that God is
revealed in three dimensions:
the father, the son and the holy spirit.
Christians believe in the afterlife.

religion surviving. They are in Israel. There law
is based on the Torah. They do not
believe in the prophets after the
Jews prophets.

Islam is a monotheistic
religion. They have a holy
book and a prophet.
They have festivals. They have a place of worship. They have rules to live their daily life. They all started in the
middle east.

Objective
My objective was to tell you and give you good information of the three major monotheistic religion.
Purpose of religion
Religion gives answers to a lot of things. It tells you answers about what happened in the past and what will happen.
They use religion to unify communities and also country's.
Religion
People use religion to give hope to others.
Religion tells them what to do and what not to do. It also tells how you should live your daily life.
