Community Council?

You must be a voting member of the BCSPCA
Members uphold the Constitution, comply with the Bylaws and Code of Ethics
Members support the aims and vision of the Society as outlined in the Charter and Strategic Plan.
Members help direct the mission, vision and activities of the Society through the election of volunteer leaders.
Members are entitled to vote for Branch Community Council
$30.00 annual fee ($350.00 Lifetime membership)

Elected members of a Branch
A part of the governance structure of the BCSPCA
A channel for the opinions of local community members
A support to the branch and particularly the branch manager
Partners, fundraisers, advocates........
Our Community
Are diverse and have members with varied backgrounds and opinions
Expand the Branch's pool of skills, expertise and support
Widen the BCSPCA's circle of influence
Are engaged, communicative, collaborative, candid, knowledgeable, [and] take their responsibilities seriously.

To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia.
Vision statement

To inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals enjoy as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

4. Freedom from discomfort
