And how I got here.
It's not Michigan Tech.
And that's all I have to say about that.
My name is Adam Czarnecki and I work at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan where I get to make videos like this:
NMU is about two hours north of the Mackinaw Bridge. I spent my time there bouncing between two majors… sometimes English, and sometimes Psychology. Meanwhile, a friend got me to sign up as a student production assistant with the local PBS affiliate. We even had a real, daily, 15-minute student news show. That's where I learned to make video stories!
A few other stories like that were featured and broadcast all over the Upper Peninsula and even in to Wisconsin. I even won two Michigan Association of Broadcaster's Awards. The video below is what, in a lot of ways, made up my "senior project" for my degree.

I lived in Ypsilanti most of my life. The one exception is the four years I spent in Michigan's Upper Peninsula attending Northern Michigan University from 2001-2005.
