Transcript of Technologys Negative Impact

Technology: A Negative Impact Technology impacts family relationships parents talk more to their children on the phone and less face to face
kids communicate with their friends more than their family members
less family time and doing things together
Example: eating dinner together Important skills have declined critical thinking skills have declined
writing skillls may be harmed because of the "texting language"
kids also use formatig that can transfer into school work
Reading for pleasure has downfalled people read more things online or through technology
visual media doesnt allow reflection, analysis or imagination
less people, especially teens, dont read for pleasure anymore and now read more things online
For example: Teenagers are more likely to read things on facebook than read a book for enjoyment I think that technology is having a negative impact on people. Teenagers especially use technology alot such as cell phones and the computers. It can have an impact on their grades and relationships with friends and family. Adults are also taking part in the technology epidemic and making a negative impact with their family realtionships. Its better to have face to face time than face to cell phone time. Technology is negetivley impacting the past gerneration, present generation and possibly the future one. By: Alex Cipriano
