Current Situation
Dubai conventional art scene is vibrant and has benefited greatly from the support of the authorities.

Public art, as in other capitals of the world, comes later in a more organic way. Recent successful community initiatives are the signs that Dubai is craving for more.

Al Quoz
Although Al Quoz does not exactly hold the usual Dubai glamour, with cement factories, warehouses and extreme dust, it is here where the local Dubai art scene took hold.

Al Quoz, holds many of the attributes of successful neighborhood artistic transformation projects around the world. This makes Al Quoz a high potential area to form the arts district of Dubai.
