The Rights and Responsibilities of the Filipino Child
It is my right to be free. To have a family who takes care of me.


It is my right to have a
good education.



It is my right to develop my potentials, talents and skills.
It is my right to have enough food and shelter. Have a healthy and active body.


It is my right to be born. To have a name
and nationality.
It is my responsibility to love my country and be a
good citizen.


It is my responsibility to love my family and
respect my parents.




It is my responsibility to study well;
to come to class on time; and to do
my assignments.


☻ It is my responsibility to use my talents and
potentials in good things.


It is my responsibility to eat clean
and nutritious food. To keep my
home and surroundings clean.
To have a clean and active body.
☻ It is my responsibility to do what is right,
to be honest and to be respectful.
It is my right to be given
the opportunity for play
and leisure.


It is my responsibility to take care of
my toys and belongingness and
to keep these orderly.
