Mark 10:17-18 - "As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. 'Good teacher,' he asked, 'What must I do to be saved?' 'Why do you call me good?' Jesus answered, 'no one is good except God alone.'"

Matthew 11:14 - "And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come."

Philippians 4: 7 -"Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praise worthy, think about such things. "

The New Age has roots in many different religious systems from Hinduism & Buddhism (reincarnation) to Christian Science (mind sciences) & the occult (astrology, channeling, numerology, palm reading).

The New Age embraces practices that occurred during OT times and were condemned by God

Shirley MacLaine, Merv Griffin, Phylicia Rashaad all say their concept of New Age works.

The power of the New Age is an impersonal force or manipulated by the individual. Each individual is his or her own god!
Nancy Reagan consulted an astrologer after the attempted assassination on her husband President Ronald Reagan.

1. God

2. Trinity
"Eternal Thought is one; in essence it is two - Intelligence and Force; and when they breathe a child is born; this child is Love. And thus the Triune God stands forth, whom men call father-mother-child." - The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ, p. 100.
3. Jesus Christ
"The majority of thinking people today have rejected the traditional view of Jesus Christ. People have been led to leave the churches in large numbers because the churches have presented a picture of Christ impossible for the majority of thinking people to accept - as the one and only Son of God, sacrificed by his loving Father to save humanity from the results of their sins" (Creme, the Reappearance of Christ, p. 25)

4. The Atonement

5. Salvation
"Today the motive shifts from the concept of personal salvation to the bringing about of right personal relationships - a broader objective. There we have a motive that is not self-centered but which ranges each individual worker on the side of spiritual hierarchy, putting him in touch with all men and good will." 6. Heaven and Hell
a. "Heaven is not far away, it is a state of mind."
b. "God never made a heaven or hell. We are creators, we make our own."
c. "Cease to look for heaven in the sky, open up your heart and heaven will come bring boundless joy" (Levi, Aquarian Gospel, p. 71).
d. Final judgment is a final healing rather than meting out of punishment (Course in Miracles, pp. 29-30).
e. Hell is what one reaps on earth in the form of bad karma.

7. Demonic Powers
a. The forces of evil are part of God. They are not separate from God. Everything is God. (Creme, The Reappearance of Christ, p. 103.)
b. "Man is his own Satan just as man is his own salvation. The concept of Satan does not describe that popular thought of Satan as one who seeks to lead men down a path of sin and wrong doing. That is a human creation, and yet it is a creation that has some validity but represents the collective thought form of all negative energies which man has created and built up." (Spangler, Reflections, p. 30).
8. The Second Coming of Christ
"Any individual, any center, who so embodies the new that it becomes a magnet source to draw the new out of the rest of the world, embodies the second coming (Spangler, Reflections, p. 10)
9. Reincarnation
Becoming perfect as your heavenly father is perfect (a teaching of Jesus) can only become fact through the constant return of the incarnating soul to the school of life on earth, therefore we undergo the perfection process by which Jesus was the prime example. That is the meaning and teaching of reincarnation (Bailey, pp. 166-177).
