Assassin's Creed: Project Genesis
Transcript of Assassin's Creed: Project Genesis
Now we will see why.
It all starts with an idea.
Assassin's Creed was designed with only one key point: the innovation. The game was a revolution at its time. The completely new gameplay counted on stealth tactics and open combat, united to a very interesting historical period, ensured a unprecedented freedom of action for the player. It collected some successes, successes that allowed the continue of the saga.
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed 2 can be defined as the first revolution in the saga. In this chapter, we relive the life of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, an Italian, who discovers his inheritance of assassin after the execution of his family. Ezio will become a master assassin foiling the conspiracy of the Pazzi, saving the Serenissima Republica of Venice from a corrupt Doge and defending Forlì. We will meet even Leonardo da Vinci.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
We continue to follow Ezio in this spin-off, particularly in its fight against the Templars in Italy, but this time in the capital, Rome. Here Rodrigo Borgia, patriarch of the Borgia family, became pope, gaining access to the Staff, a Piece of Eden. Ezio will liberate Rome from the tyranny of Borgia and, together with Niccolò Machiavelli, rebuild the brotherhood.
The Pieces of Eden are artifacts created by those who came before. Each Piece has unique capabilities, but all are united by the power to create illusions. There are Staffs of Eden, Apples and Swords of Eden. Templars and Assassins try to take advantage of the powers of these objects, while not knowing their nature. There are also keys, used as containers for memories. They contain an abnormal amount of energy.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations
In this last episode of the trilogy, Ezio change shore of the Mediterranean. After Rome, Venice, Florence, San Giminiano and Forlì, even Constantinople is faithfully reconstructed by the guys at Ubisoft. Ezio, in this adventure, must foil the plan of the Templars to recreate the Eastern Roman Empire, finding love in sofia and reliving some parts of the life of Altair. Desmond will be trapped in the Animus because of the shock in the previous chapter.
Those Who Came Before
These beings inhabited the earth more than 75,000 years ago. More technologically advanced, they build the Pieces of Eden, created the human race accelerating the evolutionary process of the primates for having a docile workforce and inspired our myths. Disappeared thousands of years ago, after the catastrophic solar eruption that left in life only 10,000 human and far fewer TWCB, they are trying to reborn. Some of them are Juno, Jupiter and Minerva. They say that one of them is still alive in the form of hologram in some secret crypt ....
The first chapter. Released in 2007, it puts the player in the shoes of Desmond Miles, a bartender. Desmond is kidnapped, taken to a laboratory and introduced in Abstergo's Animus, a projector of genetic memories in three dimensions, which is able to make revive the life of an ancestors to a subject. In the Animus you meet Altair Ibn Lahad, a Syrian assassin. We will fight with him for peace in the Holy Land and to defeat the Templars, more powerful than ever.
The Abstergo is a multinational pharmaceutical company active in many fields, from science to physics, but is secretly the new public face of the Templar Knights. They are who control the world, the ones who kidnapped Desmond. In 2012 they are winning the war against the Assassins thanks to a sleeping spy, Daniel Cross, initiating the "Great Purge" and eliminating all Assassin in the world. Dr. Warren Vidic is one of the most influential leaders of Templars and he holds as a prisoner Desmond in AC1. They plan to launch a satellite that contains a Piece of Eden, with the goal to subjugate humanity. The Templars believe that peace is achieved with the control, unlike the Assassins, who prefer the freedom.
Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed III is already shaping up as the title of the year. Set in the American Revolution, the game will follow the story of Connor Kenway, in Mohawk language Ratohnhaké: ton, half Native American and half English, who will fight to keep away from the Templars hands the american colonies. The game will not be set in such a way that the English are bad and Americans are good, we will fight the Templars by both the parties. With the new Animus 3.0 on the scene, will Desmond Miles be able to use his new skills?
The Animus. The machine used by Assassins and Templars to explore the lives of their ancestors. The Animus was rediscovered by the Templars, who developed a project of Those Who Were Before. It allows the reconstruction of entire areas or entire cities and relive memories of the past. However, it has some side effects, in particular one, the osmosis effect. It consists of a mnemonic bleeding, reducing the test subject to madness, as happened to the Subject Sixteen. In 2012, the Abstergo has made of the Animus a commercial product, even if we suspect there is something going on.

The Hidden Blade
The Hidden Blade is the distinctive weapon of the assassins, used for quick and silent kills that deliver a rather pain-free death. It has undergone several updates, first by Altair with the Hidden Gun and Poisoned Blade, then thanks to Leonardo da Vinci were added Poison Darts and finally the Americans assassins made the blade removable from the cuff. The Ottomans Assassins instead developed the hooked blade to move more quickly with ziplines.
The Main Characters
of the present
Clay Kaczmarek was an assassin. He was infiltrated at Abstergo Industries to gather information about Project Animus., Because repeated sessions in the machine, he remained victim of the osmosis effect. He hid in the nucleus of Animus 1.28 glyphs and breaches to make reveal the truth to Desmond. In the Lost Archive, we see that he was betrayed by Lucy, passed to the templars. He had contact with Those Who Came Before.
Lucy was the team leader of Desmond. It was she who had run away Mr. Miles from Abstergo. Between she and Desmond was starting something when, at the end of Brotherhood, the boy stabbed her under the control of Juno, a member of the First Civilization. You'll find out later that Lucy was a traitor, but Juno killed her just to keep it from interfering with the fate of Desmond. Fate that interest her so much.
Desmond Miles escaped from the "Farm", a community of Assassins, when he was 16 years old. He went to New York and made the bartender for a while. At one point the Abstergo captured him for a week and used the Animus to explore the memories of Altair and find the Piece of Eden. When Lucy made him escape, he relived the life of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, but when finally he found, with the rest of the team, The Apple, it took over and made him kill Lucy. Since then he remained in the Animus for a while. Now, finally, he managed to wake up from coma, thanks to Subject Sixteen, and is trying to enter in the Great Temple.
Daniel was kidnapped by Abstergo when he was six years old. Templars manipulated his mind with Animus and turned him into a sleeper agent. 20 years after Daniel Cross was a drug addict with hallucinations due to the osmosis effect. He came into contact with assassins and climbed their degrees to meet the Mentor. Then, because the pulses gave to him as child, he killed the Mentor and fled, returning at Abstergo. Today Daniel is a top agent of Abstergo and has the mission to kill William Miles, Desmond's father.
The Templars are an organization formally dissolved in medieval. They still have not disappeared. They exist since the dawn of time and are still existing today under the guise of Abstergo Industries, a pharmaceutical company without scruples. Their technology is only lower to their funding. They resources have no limits, and often are referred to as "the invisible hand that shakes the world." They are trying to send a satellite into orbit called Abstergo Eye, carrying a Piece of Eden, that will control the minds of humanity, bringing, according to them, peace.
The Assassins have always been the protectors of freedom, culture, individuality and liberty of expression. They believe that the death of a person can save the lives of many. Their creed is composed of three rules: 1) Hold the blade from the flesh of the innocent 2) Act furtively 3) Do not compromise the Brotherhood. Altair expanded the creed with a fourth rule: Do not kill for revenge.Their maximum is: Nothing is Real, Everything is Permitted. To say that nothing is real means understanding that the foundations of society are fragile and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, however, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic. Their philosophy still contains contradictions, which makes them more careful to consider their rules absolute.
