PEOPLE TO FOLLOW
This is the simplest method for flipping your classroom. It involves the students learning the lesson at home via a video and coming to class to complete the "homework". The students work through the questions that coincide with the previous days video in class.
prepare content for students in advance as a homework task
allow for students who have not completed tasks to use class time to view the content
create lessons that link to the homework task and allow for application of knowledge in class
create learning opportunities that assess and evaluate student based on the four areas of the achievement chart

Students still learn the basic material outside of class and complete the main work within the classroom. But now, they must communicate what thy learned with their peers. Classroom debates and selective groupings with student leaders are great activities if you wish to use this approach.
Problem based Learning
Traditionally used in Science class this method allows students to get an understanding of a specific concept and then apply it to a larger problem. For instance, watching a video to explain the circulatory system, then applying that knowledge to a larger project on the importance of a healthy live style.
Inquiry based Learning
Opposed to the Problem based model, the Inquiry model moves from the general to the specific. Students watch a general video to create interest and then are expected to explore and elaborate on what they just saw. They evaluate and construct new knowledge sparked the video they just watched.
"Some teachers who have been flipping for a couple of year evolve into the flipped mastery, where all students are working individually at their own pace. They still have the direct instruction at home, use class time to practice, apply where there is the teacher and peers to assist them then they take an assessment. If they get 80% or above on the assessment and move onto the next objective. If they did not get 80% or above, then they go back and relearn the material and try the assessment again."
