It helps maximize the profits of the organizations.

Its provide a yardstick by which an organizations can measure its operation efficiency.

ELEMENTS OF CONTROL

Should be significant .
Important documents are often considered.

STEPS IN THE PROCESS OF CONTROL
QUALITY AND QUANTITY CONTROL
Define the parameters of the work being
subjected to the control process.
Determine actual results.
Evaluate actual results
Compare actual results with expected results.

Apply corrective measures when needed.

Helps employees improve their productivity because they are aware of quantity and quality output requirement.

It can identify the areas in which actual and anticipated results do not coincide, which facilities the modifications of various processes.

It helps in the meeting of scheduled deadlines.

Actual results should have to be measured before actual and anticipated results can be compared.

Measurement may involve determining quantity output, using performance standards.

Some programs, such as TQM, use specialized measurement processes.
