Under-utilization of enough open areas of schools for a green landscape to be proliferated as against public areas which has limitations or restrictions

Preparation of Green Labs Guides
for Teachers and students.
The Pilot project identified Jaigopal Garodia, Choolaaimedu as the implementation area with Class 6 students as the target bunch.
Major idea of the Pilot involved imparting the essence on the following subjects
Introduction to various types of garden and Initials steps for setting up a garden -Know your soil studies.
Preparing planters and watering cans out of waste plastic bottles
Things to do for planting a sapling.
This was followed by a practical implementation by the students with help from Volunteers and Coordinators.
Convincing the school administrative board to implement Green Labs in its school premises and provide us with substantial support.
Sustaining the interest in the participants to continue doing such activities on a long term basis.
Lack of proper infrastructure/lack of space to implement the idea though approvals were obtained.
Resource planning in terms of materials, men and money.
Implementation of the pilot model to gain an insight on the exact operation on the project and extrapolate the ideas and learnings from those based on the results of the Pilot.
Fun based learning like games,
quizzes, painting ...all themed alongside Environment and Nature
