Augmented reality (AR) is a live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data.

What is Augmented Reality in an easier explanation?

The process of superimposing digitally rendered images onto our real-world surroundings, giving a sense of an illusion or virtual reality. Which intern making it render unrealistic images into a real world environment.
AR is used for many uses such as gaming, traveling and education.
Who uses Augmented Reality?

Augmented Reality (AR) can be used by everyone because we all know how much fun it can be to play a game but augmented reality allows us to do the same but the platform you play on is what you have around you and this technology is available to any environment allowing anyone to use it.

AR for gaming:
AR can be used for various gaming devices such as the DS. This feature allows the camera of the device to scan objects then simulate a game in your surroundings.
