Why is japanese art so different then other cultures art? It covers a bunch of different art styles, unlike other cultures that usally stay on one topic. The art style range from pottery and paintings to cartoons and wood or bronze sculptures. What is the oldest form of japanese art? Pottery and porcelian is the oldest form It dates back to 3000 B.C acording to scientists who expert in japanese art. photography most pottery and porcelain features paintinngs of flowers or cherry blossom trees. Japanese photographers have devolped a love for snapping pictures of cherry blossom trees. There are thousands of photos that feature pictures of these beautiful trees. Their photography style is very creative and different from other culture's photos.
