By:Joey Vitiello Tim Tebow Timothy Richard "Tim Tebow" was born in Manila Philippines. He was homeschooled as a kid. When Tim turned three, his parents, Bob and Pam, wanted to move to Florida, so they did. Florida had a law that people that are home schooled could play school sports. Tim wanted to play football, so he joined the Nease High school football team. He was a freshman in the 01-02 season. Tim Tebow was the starting Quarterback in his senior year He was declared a Division 1 recruit for college. In high school, Tim had a completion percentage of 64, and he threw for 31 touchdowns. His longest pass was 97 yards. He threw for 3302 yards on 216 completions out of 340 attempts. The longest run he had was 70 yards, and he ran 183 times for 1163 yards. Tim averaged 6 yards per run and rushed for 21 touchdowns. Tim was chosen to be one of the 5 quarterbacks for the Nation's All Freshman Team. He started too! On December 8th in 2008, Tim won the Heisman trophy. After college, Tim got drafted into the NFL ( National Football League ) to the Denver Broncos.
