Top Three Imports: machinery and transport equipment, electric power machinery, and food and livestock. New smoking law passed on April 21, 2010. This law bans all smoking in public places. It has been signed by syria's leader Bashar al-Assad. Israel made it clear that it now regards Hezbollah as a division of the Syrian army after discovering that Syria has recently supplied long-range ballistic missiles and advanced anti-aircraft systems to Hezbollah. Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah has threatened Israel, promising that any attack on Beriut's airport would be followed by a rocket attack on Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion airport.
