Expository Text Structure
Cause and effect are an action-reaction combination. The cause is the reason something happens, and the effect is what happens as a result.
To compare and contrast means to find the similarities and the differences between two or more places or things. To compare and contrast two things you need to establish a basis of comparison.
Early one morning Bob was on his way to work when he got a text and read it. This caused him to crash into a pole and ruin the front part of his car.
Apples and oranges are similar because they are both fruits, they make juice, and they both grow from trees. They are different because an apple can be at least
two different colors and the the orange is just one color.
It means that there is a complication which is the problem and the you resolve or solve it which is the solution.
Sequence is a step by step process that tells you how to do things and in what order.

It's used to describe or tell the attributes of people, places, or things.
A chip with 64-bit architecture. A fingerprint identity sensor. A better, faster camera. And an operating system built specifically for 64-bit. Any one of these features in a smartphone would make it ahead of its time. All of these features in a smartphone make it an iPhone that’s definitely ahead of its time.

Jenna's dog is very sick and the medicine that the dog is taking isn't working. At last she decided to take her dog to the vet. After a long visit the dog was better.
First get a bowl and the cereal. Second, pour the cereal in the bowl. Third, get the milk and pour it in the bowl with the cereal. Fourth, get a spoon and put it in the bowl. Last, sit back and enjoy.
