ART/DESIGN/INVENTIONS
One thing Vasari wrote was Lives of the most Eminent Italian Architects,Painters ,and Sulcptors. It was published in 1550.At Arezzo, Vasari designed the Church of Santi Fiora e Lucilla. Vasari also made the famous term 'Rinascita' or Renaissance. The Lives is an invaluable source of information about the early artists of Italy.
Conclusion
This is the end of my presentation. Thank you for listening.
WHY VASARI BECAME AN ARTIST AND AUTHOR/INFLUENCES
Vasari 's father died in 1527 in a plague. When still a boy Vasari was introduced to Cardinal Silvio Passerini who put him to study in Florence. Vasari came into close contact with some of the leading humanists. Among his teachers was Piero Valeriano, a classical scholar and the author of Hieroglyphica. This is why Vasari became an author. In Florence, he met Michealangelo , who was soon called to Rome.Vasari idolized him as an artist for the rest of his life. He wondered from town to town filling his notebooks.Vasari worked between Florence and Rome as a painter. During this period he started to plan his book about artists. One evening , in Cardinal Farnese's house , probably in 1546 ,the bishop of Nocera spoke of the need for a literary account of famous artists. Vasari volunteered to help Paolo Giovio in the project, but when Giovio gave up the idea of writing the book , Vasari accepted the challenge. This is how Giorgio Vasari became an author.

EDUCATION AND HOME
Vasari enjoyed a humanist education in the circle of Andrea del Sarto, a high Renaissance artists of the period. He worked in Florence and Rome, and also in the Naples ,and was constantly employed by those great patrons of the arts, the Medici. In 1548 he built a house in Arezzo, in which he seldom lived.
If I lived in Italy during the italian renaissance i would have liked to be an artist for three reasons. The first reason i would have liked to be an artist is because they were very likable.Another reason i would want to be an artist is because when i die i will be remembered for a long time such as Vasari is remembered today. The last reason i would want to be an artist is because i love to draw and use different medias such as pastels .
HOW INVENTION WAS PERCEIVED / FEELING ABOUT WORK
His art and inventions were perceived by Michealangelo and his teacher Piero Valeriano. Also, he perceived his art and inventions by it being posted in museums and by him getting paid for his art and inventions.Giorgio Vasari felt really good about his paintings because he went a really long way with them and they were a big part of his life .
FIRST WORK/ WHO COMMISSIONED WORK
Cosimo 1 commissioned Giorgio Vasari's works in almost all construction sites in Florence, which was rich in artistic ferment. One of his first works or art is Lives of the Most Eminent Painters,Sculptors and Architects.
MOST MONUMENTAL ACCOMPLISHMENT/INTERESTING ABOUT INDIVIDUAL
Giorgio Vasari's most monumental accomplishment is his biographies of Italian artist than any of hisown works.I think the most interestin thing about Vasari is that he has gone from place to place with different jobs and that he is all in one. An architect, artist, and author.
the end
This is just a few facts on Giorgio Vasari. There is a lot more to him then this. Go check it out sometime, it might help.
